About

Under the name of Beryl Anne, Rotterdam based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Anne den Boer (1995) creates catchy indie-pop songs with a crunchy bite: layered synthesizers, bright vocal harmonies and masterful drums, inspired by the ‘80’s and artists such as HAIM, Men I Trust and Maggie Rogers.

Her debut EP Land of Mine was released March 2019 with a sold-out release show in Roodkapje, Rotterdam. Beryl and her band won the Elevator Pitch Competition, played on national radio 3FM and toured with the Popronde from September till November. Right after the tour she rocked the stages of festivals and venues such as AFAS Live (Aftershow Lewis Capaldi), Uitmarkt Amsterdam and played support shows for Nina June.

Last year Beryl Anne released the EP Paper Walls with which she played live on national radio KINK, 3FM, Radio 2 and NPO5. This marked the start of a tour at venues (Cinetol, Vorstin, ‘t Paard) and festivals in The Netherlands.

She got nominated for the Best track of the year 2021 in Rotterdam and won an award for Best Art Music Video at the International Music Video Awards in London with her self-made music video for Burden.

Beryl Anne just released her new EP “Manners”. This is a project in collaboration with Tessa Rose Jackson, Áslaug, Anna Rune and HEBE. Four songs co-written, produced, mixed and mastered by women only.
